4th of July

The next morning on the 4th we woke up early to catch the balloon festival. When my family used to live in Utah it was always a tradition to wake up and go watch the air balloons get blown up and rise. It has been many years since I have been so I thought it would be fun going with them because none of them have ever been. We had a blast despite all of us being tired and we saw a lot of awesome balloons rise up.
After watching all the balloons rise up we got to watch the parade in Provo, another past memory of mine that I enjoyed. I forgot how long the parade was, but the kids seemed to enjoy it and we walked always with T-shirts, candy, stickers, and pencils.
After the parade we went home and swam in our pool and had the traditional 4th of July BBQ.
After a long day in the sun we all took naps and woke just in time to leave so we could get a good spot for fireworks. We ventured over to the grassy area in front of the Provo Temple where we had a great view of the fireworks that go off for the Stadium of fire. We enjoyed yummy cotton candy, and fabulous fireworks and it was a wonderful ending to an awesome 4th of July.
Shaun and me in our matching 4th of July outfits, yes my idea.
Katie, Karissa, Brianna, and Brayden excited to be watching the balloons
My brother Joshua who flew to Utah to spend the summer also joined the group
Mom Waterhouse enjoying the view
Most of the balloons flying high in the sky
This is the 4th of July balloon that carried the flag

Real Salt Lake Game

These past few weeks have been crazy with me being sick and the holiday and both families visiting, but I am happy to report Mono seems to be gone and I am regaining energy and returning back to health quickly.

We had an awesome start to the new month being able to attend a REAL Salt Lake Soccer game with family and Shaun and I being able to get out together for the first time in awhile. I am a fan of soccer so it was a lot of fun to go to the new REAL Stadium and watch those guys play. My aunt and uncle were awesome enough to get us tickets so we could get out and have some fun.
