A few weeks ago Shaun and I went to the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival. We went with our friends Jenna and Kirk Folsom and we had a blast. The night started out at Applebees where we had yummy food for a great price! They had their 2 for 20 deal where you get one appetizer and two entrees! After we ate we drove up and visited the Gardens. Unfortunately the Gardens had only 40% bloom, which was a bummer, and some of us thought that for 40% bloom we should get in at 40% of the price...hmm but it didn't work that way, go figure right? Despite the 40% bloom and the snow storm that came only a week previous to our visit, the flowers were beautiful and it was nice and relaxing to walk around in the fresh air looking at the beauty!
we went last year and I think it was like 20% bloom b/c it was BAD! But I hear this year it was good... Jenna is married? I had no idea! Glad y'all got to hang out! Love all the updates!
