We spent New Year with Shaun's sister Shannon and her husband Steve, who were able to come down for her blessing the day before. We played games and ate way to much food and barely made it to midnight! Ringing in the New Year isn't so easy when your oh so cute baby wakes you up 2 times during the night.

Addyson's Blessing
Addyson was blessed on December 30, 2012 by her Daddy. For a lot of people this may have been just a 2 minute blessing and just something that we do in our church, but to Shaun and I this was a dream come true. It was everything we had waited for, for 5 years. This was her Daddy giving her a special blessing from her Heavenly Father. Baby blessings are a big deal in our family and it meant a lot that so many took the time to come share this beautiful day with us. She was a sweet little angel and looked like one in her gorgeous dress made by her Great Grandma Neeley.

Addyson's 1st Christmas
Our 2012 Christmas was spent in Orem with my family. Shaun's time off for Christmas was very limited so we were fortunate enough to have family only 3 hours away for us to visit instead of spending it alone in Cedar City. Christmas was amazing and it was full of so many great memories. It is amazing how much Christmas changes when there is a little one to spoil! Not only was this Addyson's first Christmas, it was also her first time meeting her Papa (my dad), all of her Aunts and Uncles on my side, as well as her Great Grandparents, her Great Aunts and Uncles, her cousins (my cousins but who knows what to really call them), and her Great- Great Mamaw. She was smothered with love and there were a lot of people very willing to hold her...until her early morning feedings that is :)

Addyson's 1st Thanksgiving
Addyson's first Thanksgiving was spent at home with Mommy and Daddy and her Grandma and Grandpa Hill, who made the trip from California to be with us and of course meet Addy for the first time. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we had SO much to be Thankful for!

| I just love her flexibility in this picture |

Addyson's first photo shoot
I am not a professional but I sure had fun taking photographs of this little one. Although, I do have to say, taking pictures of a baby is really hard work! She was 3 1/2 weeks when these photos were taken and she was already a very wiggly baby.
